Stripped of choice
Now in my prime
Walking by force
Deadlock stare
Money hungry scare
Forest of truth
What’s hidden there
Read between the lines
No burden to bear
Better left unsaid

Seven years
Lost in a kiss
As hearts a flutter
Sealed in bliss
Rose petal skin
Deep ocean eyes
Romantic dreams
Of moonlit skies
And passion plays
Our world a stage
That song and dance
Of timeless age
Forever here
And always true
The sweetest kiss
From me to you
The shortest nights
Our morning sun
We plead for time
As our days run
Our hearts beat still
Unto the death
